The Russian presidential aide Vladislav Surkov is confident that the heads of Donetsk and Lugansk national republics Alexander Zakharchenko and Igor Carpenter will work at their posts until the end of the term of office in 2018.

This was reported by RIA Novosti Director of the Center for political conjuncture Alexei Chesnakov, who attended the meeting with Surkov experts.

Statements of Kiev on options for the Association of the unrecognized republics and the appointment of their governors in Donbass Chesnakov called “stuffing” and “way to maintain information noise”.

“The goal is to divert attention from real peace process and the failure of Ukraine Minsk agreements. This is well understood in the leadership.

Moscow’s position unchanged: Minsk agreement must perform by the merits, rather than trying to replace the arrangements of heads of States “channel four” different kinds Poroshenko’s fantasies,” — said Chesnakov.

The analyst noted that recently attended the meeting of the Russian presidential aide Vladislav Surkov with the group of experts, and on it was a question about the attitude to different kinds of personnel changes in the republics.

According to Chesnakov, marmot has clearly formulated the position as follows: “Zakharchenko and Plotnitsky received a mandate of the heads of republics to a direct popular vote. Their term of office ends only in 2018. Before the end of this period they will work.

Moreover, according to sociological polls, the current heads of the DPR and LPR, obviously, can raise the question of re-election for a second term”.
